About / Bio
I became a doula in 2007, because after the birth of my son in 2005, as i knew there must be a better way of having babies (i had little support, husband unsure how to help me, and ended with epidural and vaccum delivery). My 2nd and 3rd babies were born at home in 2008 and 2010, i had lots of of support from my husband, doula and midwives, plus the extra friends who were there for my last baby. It made such a differance having extra support, and people there for me as well as more knowledge. I am currently the Chairman of Australian Doulas in Perth. My aim is to give women and thier partners an empowering birth experiance either a hospital, home or even a c-section. I am unjudgemental and can support you through what ever choice you wish.
Karla (Baby O) - Sept 2011 "'Alina is a wonderful Doula, calm, supportive and thoughtful throughout the birthing experience. She is dedicated and caring. Alina was my guiding star, with her I was able to keep focus and endure the complexities that arose. I recommend her definitely" Marie (Baby C) - May 2010 "Thankyou for stepping into our lives, not only as an amazing doula but as a friend (Not just a 'rent-a-friend' either). Your support really was bottomless and you enhanced our birth experience so much."
