A Wonderful Beginning is an Australian based privately-owned business in charge of delivering personal coaching for mothers and partners pre, during and post-birth. A Wonderful Beginning puts particular emphasis on continuity of care and ready access to a holistic practical care for mind, body, spirit as well as access to clinical Midwifery care and obstetric support whenever required.

- Coaching parents expecting to a positive and safe birth experience, developing a birth plan that is right for you,
- providing continuity of care,
- letting you know when it’s time to go to the hospital or call the midwife,
- teaching you to advocate for yourself and your baby during labor,
- developing breathing techniques that works for you,
- identifying relaxation techniques that suit you and your baby,
- go through and suggest different labouring positions,
- provide or arrange for massage for comfort,
- making sure you eat and drink enough,
- advising on preparation and transition to bring baby home,
- coaching on the first stages of development in the relationship between mum and baby,
- helping you getting into the rhythm of your baby.
