Melissa exudes a very friendly and professional manner. To this day, we are yet to see Melissa anything short of upbeat and positive. This really rubbed off on both my husband and I. The more we spoke with Melissa and the more resources she provided us with, the more we knew that there was no better way to bring new life into the world. After regular visits from Melissa, it became the first pregnancy where we felt extremely excited and full of healthy anticipation. Our pregnancy turned into a celebration! With Melissa by our side, we felt that nothing was too much trouble. She made us feel as though we were the centre of the universe and our wellbeing was her total focus. Not once did we doubt her ability or ask a question that she couldn't answer. Her level of commitment to the profession is evident in every conversation. Our birth plan was for the experience to be about us. My husband and I wanted to feel as though we were the only people in the room going through a natural experience. Melissa totally got this and on our baby's special day of world entry, Melissa was unassumingly present. We could not recommend anyone more highly. - Gabrielle and Andreas "I was blessed to be professionally supported by Melissa while I was pregnant with my son. From the moment I found out I was pregnant right till I had my son, Melissa was a constant source of advice which I firmly believe contributed enormously to my successful pregnancy. Her gentleness was always reassuring especially for me as a first-time mum. Also, there was a lot of hands-on advice she was able to give me that I would not be able to find in the more general information out there, such as websites and the visits to clinics. This I found very comforting, the fact that she was able to answer exactly what I would have questions about, all the while taking into account my specific ituation. Melissa always took the time to explain things in detail to me, regardless of what my queries would be. She is a true expert in her profession, with that extra element being that she really does enjoy and care about her profession. This shines through in her work and her attitude." - Fiona Tangi We received an exemplary standard of care, unavailable through any other service, which was the epitome of professionalism, while also being personal and supportive. Melissa is approachable, professional, experienced and friendly from the outset. As we worked with her we also found that it was not just her training, but her personality and style that generated a huge amount of trust and led to our confidence approaching our home birth. There was plenty of time for questions and discussion and to move at our own pace. Longer visits meant we felt informed and supported in making decisions, and were important in the process of building trust. We felt so safe and cared for during our home birth. Melissa was an incredible support and gave us confidence that all was ok. I feel we had exemplary care and can't fault it. We received a top quality service which was incredibly good value for money. - Jo and Geoff
